DESCRIPTION
MEDNA CD602 (Catalog No. C1602) is a serum-free, chemically defined cell culture medium powder formulated for growing CHO cells at both small and large scales. It is designed to support high cell densities and is compatible with a variety of commercial cationic transfection reagents.
This product contains 6 mM glutamine derivative and is recommended for use with MEDNA TR-40 (Catalog No. C4610), MEDNA P54 Enhancer Solution (Catalog No. C4613), MEDNA P54 Feed 1 (Catalog No. C4611), and MEDNA P54 Feed 2 (Catalog No. C4612).
MEDNA CD602 is intended for research use or further manufacturing. It is not intended for human or therapeutic research.
STORAGE
Store the product at 2-8°C. This product has a shelf life of 12 months.
LIQUID FORM PREPARATION (10L)
1. Add 9.3-9.5 L of ultrapure or injectable-grade water (20-30°C) into a clean container
2. Empty out the entire 10L bag of MEDNA CD602 into the container
3. Measure out 18 g of sodium bicarbonate (target:1.8 g/L) and stir until fully dissolved
4. Adjust the pH to 7 + 0.05 by slowly adding 6 mol/L NaOH
5. Raise the total volume to 10 L by adding ultrapure or injectable-grade water
6. Gently stir for 10 minutes or until fully mixed
7. Sterilize the solutionvia 0.22μm membrane filtration
8. Store at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. Protect the solution from light
