DESCRIPTION
High protein yield feed HF502 is a liquid nutrient supplement. It is an animal-origin-free partial-feed formulation for CHO cells.
When combined with HF511 (Catalog # C1603) it provides up to 10-fold improvement in titers of fed batch versus batch culture.
RECOMMENDATION OF FEEDING
During a typical fed batch protein production, four doses of feeds are required: the first feed is on day 3 post-seeding followed by 3 additional feeds every 2 days with 0.2% HF502 (v/v) + 2.5% HF511 (v/v). Glucose needs to be added when the level of glucose is low. Temperature shift may be applied.
