DESCRIPTION
This product is designed to be used as a general blocking agent/diluent in nucleic acid and protein blotting applications.
USAGE
Prior to use, 10x Casein Solution should be diluted to 1x with distilled or deionized water. 1x Casein Solution is the recommended diluent in western blot, ELISA and IHC. Incubation time can be optimized by experiments and is typically 15 to 60 minutes for effective blocking.
STORAGE
Keep refrigerated. For prolonged storage of diluted Casein Solution, addition of sodium azide is recommended to give a final concentration of 0.08% (w/v).
