DESCRIPTION:
This recombinant Human PD1-10xHis protein is made from HEK293 cells. It is secreted with the sequence of Human PD1 (amino acids 25-167) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. Also known as: Protein PD-1, hPD-1, CD279, PDCD1.
BACKGROUND:
Programmed death-1 (PD-1) is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the CD28/CTLA-4 family of immunoreceptors that mediate signals for regulating immune responses. Members of the CD28/CTLA-4 family both up-regulate (CD28 and ICOS) and downregulate T cell activation (CTLA-4 and PD-1). PD-1 is expressed on activated T cells, B cells, myeloid cells and on a subset of thymocytes. Mouse and human PD-1 share approximately 60% amino acid sequence identity.
FORMULATION:
0.2 µM filtered solution of 30 mM Hepes, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.0.
STORAGE:
This Protein should be stored at - 80°C.
Stable at < -20°C for 3 months or at 4° - 7°C for 3 weeks.
