DESCRIPTION
This recombinant human L-selectin
protein is made from HEK-293 cells. It comprises of the sequence of Human
L-selectin fused with a mouse IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus. The predicted MW
is 55 kDa, and observed MW on SDS-PAGE is approximately 75 kDa.
BACKGROUND
Selectins, also designated as CD62
antigens, comprise a family of carbohydrate-binding protein with three members;
E-Selectin, L-Selectin, and P-Selectin. Human L-Selectin (CD62L) is expressed
on lymphocytes and is involved in the entry of these cells into secondary
lymphoid organs.

This protein should be stored
at -80°C.
Reconstituted protein solution can
be stored at 2°- 8°C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted protein
