DESCRIPTION
This recombinant Human Fc gamma RIIIA-F158 protein is made from HEK293 cells and fused with a polyhistidine
tag at the C-terminus.
Known as: CD16a, FCGR3A

BIOACTIVITY
Binds to human IgG as a low affinity receptor.

BACKGROUND
Human Fc gamma RIIIA, also known as CD16a, binds the Fc region of IgG. This receptor acts late in the immune
response by binding with low affinity and recognizing IgG as aggregates surrounding multivalent antigens. Human
Fc gamma RIIIA is commonly found on Natural Killer cells, macrophages, subpopulations of T-cells, immature
thymocytes, and placental trophoblasts and works to moderate antibody dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC) and
phagocytosis.

FORMULATION
0.2 μM filtered solution of 20 mM HEPES, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.5

STORAGE
This protein should be stored at -80°C.
Stable at < -20°C for 3 months or at 4° - 7°C for 3 weeks.
Minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

QUALITY CONTROL
Purity is greater than 95%.
