DESCRIPTION
High protein yield feed HF511 is a liquid nutrient supplement. It is an animal-origin free partial feed formulation for CHO cells. When combined with HF502 (Catalog # C1604) it provides up to 10 fold improvement in titers of feed batch versus batch culture.
RECOMMENDATION OF FEEDING
During a typical fed-batch protein production, four doses of feeds are required: the first feed is on day 3 post-seeding followed with 3 additional feeds every 2 days with 0.2% HF502 (v/v) + 2.5% HF511 (v/v). Glucose needs to be added when level of glucose is low. Temperature shift may be applied.
