DESCRIPTION
P54 Feed 1 (20X) is a high protein yield, liquid nutrient supplement. It is an animal-origin free partial feed formulation. When combined with P54 Feed 2 (Catalog # C4612) and Enhancer Solution (Catalog # C4613) it provides up to 10 fold improvement to fed-batch titers versus unfed batch cultures. P54 system provides highest yields possible in a transient system and can be used in CHO cell cultures.
RECOMMENDED USAGE
During a typical
fed-batch protein production, two 5% (v/v) doses of feed are required: the
first dose is fed on day 1 post transfection followed with one additional feed
on day 7 post transfection. Each dose is paired with a 0.4% dose of P54 Feed 2
(v/v). Glucose should be supplemented when its levels are low. Temperature
shift may be applied with the first feed.
