MEDNA HF621 (Catalog No. C1621) is a serum-free, chemically defined cell culture feed formulated for growing CHO cells and optimizing protein production at both small and large scales. It is designed to support high cell densities and is compatible with a variety of commercial cationic transfection reagents.
This product contains 100g/L glucose and is recommended for use with MEDNA CD602 Chemically Defined CHO suspension Growth Media.
MEDNA HF621 is intended for research use or further manufacturing. It is not intended for human or therapeutic research.
Store the product at 2-8°C. This product has a shelf life of 12 months.
2. Empty out the bag of MEDNA HF621 powder into the container. Gently stir for 30 minutes or until fully mixed. The target concentration is 186.8 g/L.
3. Slowly add 6 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution to adjust the pH to 6.7.
4. Raise the total volume to 1 L by adding ultrapure or injectable-grade water.
5. Sterilize the solution via 0.22 μm membrane filtration.
6. Store at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. Protect the solution from light.
