DESCRIPTION
Zaire ebolavirus sGP(NP_066246) (Ile33-Ile364) was expressed with the Flag-Myc-polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.
BACKGROUND
The fourth gene of the Ebola virus (EBOV) genome encodes a 160-kDa envelope-attached glycoprotein (GP) and a 110 kDa
secreted glycoprotein (sGP). Both GP and sGP have an identical 295-residue N-terminus, however, they have
different C-terminal sequences. Ebola sGP Secreted form is sGP (I33-I364) expressed with the Flag-Myc-polyhistidine
tag at the N-terminus.
FORMULATION
0.2 μM filtered solution of 30 mM HEPES, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.0
STORAGE
Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C.
Samples are stable at -70°C for up to twelve months from date of receipt.
It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
QUALITY CONTROL
Purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin measures at <0.1 EU µg protein as determined by the LAL method.
